While Waiting to Purchase Your iPhone
Are you considering an iPhone purchase on June 29th? If so, prepare yourself for the following while waiting to make your purchase:
- Long lines.
- News crews with cameras in your face -- if they ask you anything about purchasing the iPhone just yell out "AppleHound.com"! Thanks.
- A bunch of people obsessing over time like never before... counting the milliseconds to 6 PM.
- Conversations about if there will be enough phones for the 21st, 41st, or 201st person in line. If Apple and AT&T want to control the crazed fanboys they should consider communicating quantities upfront. Also, they need to be prepared with a good speech to calm down those people that will likely be turned away without a phone in hand.
- People camping out in their lawn chair with a fancy MacBook situated on their lap.
- T-shirts that read "There's no place like 127.0.0.1", "Geek Inside", "Insufficient Memory", and many more.
- If the corporate communication channels remain as open as they are today, there will be wild prognostications about data plan rates and possible "top secret" features.
- Other customers in line will try to convince you that the smart people are going to wait for the second generation iPhone, thus reducing their in-line competition.
- Swooning at any mention of Steve Jobs.
What other fun stuff are you expecting to experience while waiting in line?
